Yesterday I watched the moving ceremony dedicated to US soldiers who lost their lives in the shooting at Fort Hood several days ago. I was especially impressed by the tradition of the final roll call followed by the gun salute and the playing of taps. What great traditions the army has to commemorate their fallen people.
Today is Veterans Day in the US. Although the timing is challenging, yesterday's event at Fort Hood was the perfect connection to a day dedicated to those men and women who have served in the military to protect our freedom. This is a day to pay homage to those who have served and those who have fallen in the line of duty.
Thank you to those who volunteer to serve their country. Those are true brand champions. Peace.
